Let’s be straight here, traditional white chocolate displays (very) little in the way of redeeming features. Tons of sugar, a little cocoa butter, plenty of milk powder and some vanilla flavours. My dad always liked white chocolate (the stuff with 62% sugar in it!), and I certainly have enjoyed a piece or two over the years. But even as a kid, I realised it was sweet, sweet, sweet! Because of its high sugar content and its lack of actual cocoa, white chocolate has gone somewhat out of vogue.
Here at Rebel Chocolate, we felt we could buck this trend and formulate a white chocolate that is actually deserving of the title “chocolate”. So here it is, our highest protein content chocolate to date. It is made with lots of cocoa butter and nearly 50% less sugar than supermarket rivals. Honestly and truly, every person who has said to us that they find white chocolate too sweet has loved our amazing buttery and creamy version. Try it; you will not believe how good this tastes!
